A New Era
In which MA becomes a WordPress site… temporarily.
As you can most likely detect, I have changed my site over to WordPress. This is a temporary measure to alleviate the massive headache that was MA Engine v0.3.4. Since the new version is not yet ready, and I have no particular timetable for it, I think it’s best for everyone if I retire v0.3.4 now. You’ll see that I have ‘ported’ the theme from v0.3.4 over, with a few improvements. Structurally, it’s based upon the default WP theme (Kubrick), because I have no inclination to create a complete WP theme. MA Engine 0.4 has a completely different theme but I’m not ready to reveal that just yet, and I’m quite happy with the way this site has turned out now.

In other news, on Wednesday evening I accepted a job offer from a small-but-expanding web development company. I’m pretty excited about it. I start on Monday morning, and I will post more about it all afterwards. I’ve definitely enjoyed my little holiday these past few months, but I’m at least looking forward to doing something out of the house.
Given that I will soon be outside doing things, you may find that I post a bit more often… but maybe not.
