A new domain
…and it’s all mine. Just some general updates and stuff.
A general update
I’ve made the move to my domain. The process wasn’t too bad, some tweaks had to be made; but generally smooth. Please get in touch if you run into any problems.
There should be a bit more stability in the quote smarts now, since I have integrated the SmartyPants tool into MA.
Like it means anything to anyone but me, but my tax return came through last night, so I’m now getting very much closer to that nice PowerBook. I can’t wait.
I’ve become very fond of Band in a Bubble, though I’m not really familiar with Regurgitator beyond knowing the name. Sure it’s a 21 day commercial, but I guess I like it because it’s like Big Brother with a purpose. The voyeurism I like, and the process and technology is fascinating. Furthermore, the fact that these guys are airing their unfinished work is fantastic. Will the whole thing encourage album sales? I reckon.
I am planning to start an audio engineering course some time in the next year. This is in no way related to the previous item (well, maybe a little bit, but not completely).
I finally got the two Tolkien Ensemble CDs An Evening in Rivendell and A Night in Rivendell. These two join the brilliant At Dawn in Rivendell. Despite the rather unimaginative though relevant and provocative titles, all three and particularly At Dawn (featuring Christopher Lee) are absolute musts for Tolkienophiles. They are all available on Amazon.

Mmmmmm, powerbook. Those extra 15″ over the 12″ do make a difference. Get the option with the backlight keyboard!! It’s really kool

Re: backlit keyboard: it goes without saying!
Hmm… timezones are skewed.

And doesn’t this site look so much better!

Well, I rather like the “internet explorer is evil” bit up the top, but yes, it does look a bit smoother now.
I shall continue testing it in IE occasionally to see how the fixing is going though.
