White Goods Man
I have finally finished my coursework after having raved about it for weeks… ok, days. DVD commentaries: infinity plus one. Tomorrow I will see Circus Oz again.
Well, that’s it, it’s all over. Provided I pass everything, I have now finished all my coursework, though of course leaving the final bit to the very last moment possible. Next week is my “week off”, then I shall try to move head first into my honours project (despite the great likelihood of Alias season 2 DVDs arriving around then).
Just how much do I like DVD commentaries? About this |--------| much on a ten-by-one-character screen that represents, in one dimension, the entire universe. Plus one.
Tomorrow I go to Melbourne for two reasons. Firstly, to see my folks’ new apartment, which should be fun, and secondly, to see Circus Oz for the fourth or fifth time. Circus Oz has to be just about the best circus ever, and perhaps their best attribute is their musicians. Their first (?) CD, entitled Circus Oz Band, certainly rates highly amongst my collection: a brilliant mix of folky/traditional music with electronica. The other Circus Oz Band CD I have (Demented Science) was a bit disappointing, mostly because it didn’t have the music played at the performance at which I purchased it. I highly recommend both CDs, though I think it would be hard to find them now.
Edit: This is actually the hundredth entry, but some have been deleted so if you count them they won’t add up.

You mean you came to Melbourne and you didn’t come and you didn’t even tell me?? Pah I say, PAH!

Well, next time I’ll warn you in advance :). Though, in my defence, I arrived at about 5:00pm Thursday and left at 9:35am on Friday, so there really wasn’t time to do anything more than what I did.

That would be nice..after all, by my calculations (using the my high–teck computar machine and all it’s components as beads on a convoluted abacus) you spent 16 hours and 35 minutes in Melbourne.
Surely that should be plenty of time to visit.

Errr regarding your newest little entry, if you have 45gb free, it’s time to use DC and get the more rare series’ out there, like the Micallef series and Black Books (stunning series)..

Well, I actually have about 65Gb free, but unfortunately only 5Gb download limit per month. It’s fast, but you don’t get much, as it were. As much as I would love to get the Micallef show (Black Books didn’t really capture me, maybe a second look would…), the day–to–day downloading requirements do not permit any excesses. Believe me, I would have no space left if it were otherwise so.
Luckily, things are starting to look good for a change to a better provider.
