Network woes part 2

New network card dewoes the woes.

Well, a new network card seems to have fixed the problem. That explains why when I had Aelfwine and Aelfsciene connected by crossover cable it was so bloody slow, but doesn’t explain why the card worked perfectly under Linux. Hmm.

Well, this may be due to XP having used slightly dodgy drivers since they don’t expect anyone with old hardware to do anything with it (a common thing for them to do).

As for the new site design..well it appears darker onscreen and has a bit more edge, but other than that seems quite similar.

    To my liking it is.

    Answer: Because linux rules :D

Ok, enough of my Linux fanboy stuff, I do have a totally off–topic question:

Did you get the revised (if you actually changed anything, I know I didn’t change much) version of your paper to Paul Beckett by the 26th of April (or whatever the date was meant to be). I only ask because Dave.A didn’t and now he’s not getting the publication (or coming with us to Canberra). I’m sure you are a little (well, actually, a LOT) more organised then Dave.A, but I just thought I’d make sure you got it in.
