Because removing your comment would make my comment lose its humour. Also because I haven’t transferred the editing and deleting functions yet.

These links are mostly just for when I’m doing web development, and for that I don’t really need file types or linux help. If I’m so inclined, I may one day extend the link system to include categories and so forth such that it becomes like a portable bookmarking system, but that’s for the future :).

Ahh, I see...

I just tried the edn page, and es, I did try to log in as your logs will no doubt tell you.

I’m just reading up on your PHP linked manual. You really should add links like wotsit and tldp, cause they are bloody useful..

Oh yeah... the edn (or Aelfwine) page and this page (MA) are completely seperate as far as logging in is concerned, as you have no doubt noticed. When I get around to actually getting hosting and a domain, only MA will be there, not edn. edn is just for my benefit as a front page to my development server.

Teehee :D

Ahh... the edn login page, I thought you were talking about the MA login page. Well, only I have a user account for the edn page, simply because everything that would show up if anyone else had an account would still be inaccessible since I also use HTTP passwords on most of the stuff. There is a memo system, though, so you can log in now with the same user info as you have here. The links marked “private” will still be inaccessible.

Well, since your email address is stored in your user info, you don’t have to enter it when you comment. I’ve changed it for unregistered users such that their name will be linked to the URL they enter, or nothing. The email address is stored in the database, and I will probably make it visible only to registered users on the actual comment.

Yay, I can almost change my avatar!!!

The login page at aelfwine is amusing because the page simply resets to blank whenever anything is tried.

I am also impressed at the usage of e–mail hiding :) A simple solution to a simple problem

Yeah, as I said, some things aren’t working yet. The old comments page no longer actually shows the comments, but it does include the code that actually adds the comment to the database, so when you enter your comment in the Journal archive, it will still send you to the old comments page when you submit. This will change, eventually.

What’s the problem with the login screen, though?
