In which the eloqui translates the Ring verse from English into English (via German and French)
The Rings Verse (note: from memory):
Three rings for Elven kings under the sky,
Seven for the Dwarf lords in their halls of stone,
Nine for mortal Men, doomed to die;
One for the dark lord on his dark throne
In the land of Mordor, where the shadows lie.
One ring to rule them all, one ring to find them,

BabelFish is not too bad, I guess. Poetry can be fiendishly difficult to translate manually, let alone automatically (though the Ring verse is not particularly complex).
