Meshta Ankarith

Well, I’m turning 21 on Wednesday, which means that I’ll be able to drink in America. Not that that’s very useful, since I won’t be in America (at the very least not until December), and I don’t drink. But, I’ve got a nice guitar out of it, so that’s cool.

My paper is coming along, accompanied by thoughts of “maybe I won’t do a Ph.D.” I don’t mind doing the paper, nor research in general, but I’ve been a full-time student for nigh on 16 years, without more than about four months break with nothing to do. I feel it’s nearly time for a change.

That’s made me start thinking about what sort of job I’d like to get: I would like to work in web design for a while. Geeks may gasp at those words, but I enjoy it, and I think it’s good to be surrounded by creative types. I’m only ~55% geek anyway.

But nothing is certain… I may change my mind again in a day or so. Such is me.
