Good news day
Finished work; only five weeks early. Paper not due for more weeks.
Well, two things have happened today that I would class in the good category.
Firstly, this morning I got the software that I’m working on at Uni running perfectly. This is something that the guys who hired me thought would take a much longer time. I have no idea where the crossed lines were. But, they’ll find plenty of other stuff for me to do, and I’ll still get paid.
I received an email about fifteen minutes ago saying that the SimTecT papers are now not due until February 9th. That is a weight off my shoulders, and now I’ll have time to actually create something to write about.
I’m now about to start working on the archive for this journal, since Dark Prince has requested it.

OK, so I’ve created the archive software now. It’s not quite finished, but it’s useable.

I have to redo the comments now so that they are included on the journal archive page. That’s a big job that is bound to over–complexify the source code for this page.

Couldn’t you just cut and paste the comment code? I mean some references will need changing (maybe)..
I don’t know enough about php to be able to suggest much..

Unfortunately not. As you will see by looking at the address bar, the way the comment page works is completely different to the far superior journal archive. There are considerable changes necessary to shift the comments over.
