LOTR on the brain
ROTK on Friday: damn that Australia gets it so late. Reviews seem good. Speed reading of Fellowship; records beaten. Background problems still persist.
I am really looking forward to seeing ROTK on Friday. It is extremely annoying that Australia is so far behind the rest of the world, and I would love to know exactly why. Anyway, I’m seeing it at a multiplex in Melbourne, and I hope the damn place has a big screen like my local.
I also noticed today that my local cinema is showing the three parts of LOTR in a marathon on Sunday 28th. That will be fun, if I manage to get tickets.
I have been reading a few reviews of ROTK, and they are generally good (the only negative review felt like the reviewer was just dissing it because he wanted to be different, rather than because the film was no good). I think I won’t be fully satisfied until the EE comes out, since there are some important scenes that are missing from the theatrical (ie. confronting Saruman).
I did my quickest read of FOTR last week, finishing it in two weeks. Usually FOTR takes about a month to read, whilst TTT and ROTK generally only take a week (if that). I’m proud of my accomplishment.
Various BBcode and Entification problems still persist beneath the Island’s surface.

The same reason that DVDs have regional ’encoding’ (it’s a couple of byte ffs).
I cannot think of any more test cases for the moment, think I need to see the code to make alterations…

Hrmm…just noticed that there’s no old news button. Just my thought for the day.
