No wonder…
The sudden realisation that I was using an old version of Opera! B5s3 delayed.
I just before realised that I was still using an old version of Opera (7.11). I’m sure I remember updating at least to 7.20, but obviously I didn’t. Oh well, it’s alright now. The upgrade has also fixed some rendering bugs that were annoying me where when rolling over links, parts of the page would ‘jump’ around.
I’ve noticed that B5s3 will now not be sent until about the 17th. This may be just that I ordered late and they ran out of copies before they got to me. I’m still looking forward to it.

I have a bad feeling that many of the woes I encountered whilst getting the drop down menus to work may have been caused by the old version of Opera. No use crying over spilt milk, though. I’m actually quite happy that the menus are gone.
