Exams exams exams

Exam 1 of 3, but not worried at all. RSS is settled… for now. RPC interface underway. Drop down menus not happening.

So it’s my first exam for this semester tomorrow. I just can’t seem to get nervous, excited or any other feeling about it. I never have felt much about exams. Indeed, I think I find them much easier than assignments, probably because you’re there and you’re forced to do the work for those two hours. Perhaps that is why I always leave assignments to the last day… but I don’t think that’s necessarily the best way to go about it. And I must assure myself that such procrastination will not happen with my honours project (daunting as it may seem).

Anyway, so I’ve finished working on the RSS system for now, but it works by regenerating the xml each time someone accesses ./rss/. I’m not so happy about that… but we’ll see. I’ve also begun to implement an RPC interface so that I can use external tools to update the site. I think once that’s done, I should finish the journal admin system, then get onto the HistoryWiki.

And don’t talk to me about drop-down menus.

Dagnammit, FeedDemon is putting all my journal entries into the future: it seems to be adding the timezone to the post time or something equally stupid. Oh well, I don't mind being a timetraveller/writer.
