Developing a Wiki-style interface for the History section. Changes to navbar background. More woes on the CD burner front.
I’ve decided to implement some sort of Wiki type system for at least the History section, and possibly the Languages section. After a short play with phpwiki, I’ve decided that it will be more interesting to create my own version than to bother trying to work out that app. It will be a closed Wiki, and thus more for the writer’s convenience than following the traditional Wiki way.
I’ve also changed the bg image for the navbar to a 10% opacity alpha-png. Much nicer, though I’ve yet to make it IE compatible. Not that I want to.
On the CD burner front, I ran a firmware upgrade program which was successful, although wasn’t actually a newer version than what it had already. Unfortunately, it didn’t actually totally fix the problem. I’ve also upgraded to Nero 6. This seems to have changed the error message, and it now manages to burn a bit of the disk before crashing. I’ve all but given up on this drive, and am sorely tempted to go for that bright, shiny new CDRW.
