Some more progress reports.
I’ve realised the need for more navigation, and thus have reinstated the nav bar on the right hand side. I’m not happy with using the alpha-enabled png as a background because:
- it doesn’t work in IE; and
- it introduces a new colour into the page that I’m not happy with.
I used the same colour as the header bar background, but with 25% opacity so that it is like an overlay on the gradient. I’m not happy with it.
The backend of the nav bar is equally unpleasing at the moment. It currently has a default template that will go on every page, and the ability to add a specific template for a particular page. That specific template is included within the default nav bar template, and it’s very ugly.
Furthermore, as always, I shouldn’t be working on this: I have a tonne of work to do for uni.
